Coaching

I am a certified professional Life Coach. In my signature program, I coach women physicians to live their most intentional life. That program is well established and highly rated. If you are a woman physician and want to work with me, please visit my other website:

I also coach seriously ill patients. Some have terminal disease, and some are trying to live with the knowledge that their time is limited. They want to focus on what matters most and learn more about aligning with their wishes and goals with the life they are living today.

If you are a patient with serious or terminal illness, I offer a free hour long consultation and beyond that you may sign up to work with me hourly if that is something you are interested in after our session.

Schedule your FREE consultation by clicking below.

After the consult, if you want to continue working with me, I will let you know how to reach out to me.

Tomorrow is no place to put your better days.

DMB

Life can sometimes feel unbearable. You can feel all the feels.

Overwhelmed. Anxious. Worried. Isolated. Stressed. Inadequate. Defeated. Exhausted. Judgmental. Scared. Overfed. Undernourished. Stagnant. Hyper. Angry. Disappointed. Empty. Burdened. Overstretched. Insecure…

As a palliative care physician, I am privileged to care for the dying and the seriously ill. This puts lives in a very clear perspective. I decided to start helping people farther upstream.

I don’t want you to suffer through life. You can experience the life you are living fully. Not waiting for a serious illness to get your life in order.

I think it is so important to live a life with intention. A life that is meaningful. One that is worth living.

We can get so caught up in our own thoughts that we end up living in a world of woulda, coulda, shouldas.  Then we are hit by an illness and get a laser sharp focus and try to pivot. Let me be the reminder for you to pivot now.

Based on a study by JAMA*, a total of 6 coaching sessions statistically improved emotional exhaustion, resilience and overall quality of life for physicians:

Working with a life coach has improved my relationships with those I love and those I struggled to get along with. It resolved my love/hate relationship around food. It helped me handle my daily clutter management as a mom of young children, but most importantly, it fine tuned my day to day time management.

It feels like I am living someone else’s life: mine, but so very much improved.

This has helped me appreciate living on purpose today. With little focus on the tomorrow that I cannot control and the past that is clearly behind me.

I believe that while a physician can help you when you are ill, a life coach can elevate your life experience and sense of “well” being regardless of whether or not you suffer from a serious disease. That is the gift I want to give to you. Helping you sooner rather than later.

I want to help you so much earlier; catch you before you fall.

Every single patient I care for is a reminder of the fragility and the preciousness of life. I want to help you live what is possible for you today. With or without a terminal diagnosis. To give you the tools to live what is possible for you. Your best life.
